DFPD approves Interest subvention for 61 more ethanol facilities

DFPD has approved soft loans for another 61 ethanol facilities to help it achieve its 20% ethanol blending mandate by 2025. The new facilities will produce 2.57 billion liters of ethanol production capacity, of which 1.86 billion liters will use grain as feedstock. All of the approved projects have already received environmental and building permits. The total investment for the 61 project is around Rs. 6800 Cr .
